best spam I've seen in a while
This spam came through Google’s spam filter the other day. It seems to have no value at all (no links to clicks or stocks to buy). Maybe it’s a test message spammers were using to see if they could get something through? I like the closing. ”bedazzle myself”.

Schilling on the NBA finals
I’ve been following the NBA finals and found this review of the game written by Curt Schilling. This is the first of his blog posts that I’ve read and I found it very interesting. april fools
I guess I’m sick of Internet April Fools jokes. A few years ago they were clever and funny. This year they’re just predictable and annoying.
Poor Gagne
I feel bad for Eric Gagne. I thought last year with the Red Sox he get a bad start and just couldn’t recover mentally. Maybe a new team, new league, and some time off would get him back to where he wanted to be. Apparently not. Giving up a single, walk, and three run homer on opening day is probably not what he was hoping for.

I had never been logged into a Linux system that didn’t have man installed until today. After getting a xen image up and running I found out it didn’t have even the most basic tools like man, patch, or ed. I guess that’s why xen-tools can create an image so quickly. I need to figure out the meta-package Ubuntu uses to install all the basics.
no comments here
One interesting feature (or lack of feature) here at tumblr is that there are no comments. This surprised me at first but now I see that this is part of the point - you’re posting for your own enjoyment. I have seen tumblr blogs that merge in comments with an external system like Disqus but for now I think I’ll go strictly comment free here.
